A day at the beach in Menorca

Enjoy a day at Menorca's most incredible coves and beaches.

June is a very special month in Menorca: the island comes alive. The summer solstice gives us one of the most popular and recognized holidays, “San Juan”, while the start of the summer season invites us to enjoy one of the island’s attractions: its incredible coves and beaches. We invite you to enjoy a day at the beach in Menorca as a local: in a relaxed way, among friends, and far from the massification of other destinations.

In Menorca, we find two different types of beaches, depending on the area of the island where we are. The northern beaches and coves are characterized in many cases by their reddish sand and rugged rock landscape, while those beaches further south are almost saltwater pools of incredible turquoise colour, surrounded by pine forests.

The best way to access any of them is by car, followed by a short walk along the paths arranged among pine forest, to care of and preserve the coastal area from road traffic. Please note that our island is a protected natural environment.

In the North area, we can find Cala Pregonda, Cala Tortuga or the not well-known Cala Morell. In the south, the classic Macarella and Macarelleta, Cala Mitjana and Mitjaneta, Cala en Turqueta or Cala Galdana, which are white sandbanks with truly dreamy waters.

Any of them is a magnificent day plan to enjoy during your stay in Torralbenc.
